Ashes

Not looking for an AA meeting or anything but I think a 12-step is in order.

Step 1–

Go back to the beginning. Sounds like I am watching to much of the Princess Bride but this is advice worth acting upon. Blow up the old to make way for the new. That seems to be a bit more Fight Club style and I like it. Might as well start with blowing up what should have been a solid source of venting and start over again. Still no theme or set idea but I really need to challenge everything I have thought for the last decade and might as well start with myself.

I am and will continue to be fucked.

T-Minus 20

We are down to 20 days to go regarding daughter #2. My guess right now is as follows–

• DOB–8/23
• Time–7:44am
• Weight–7lbs. 9oz.
• Length–21 1/2 inches
• Hair–Black and lots of it

This weekend is my shot to get the room all set. Picked up some Dreft to start the necessary re-washing, picked up a few wall/ceiling hangings, a nice fresh new mobile and some window treatments (God bless marriage talk). Very excited to have a weekend to get a little more caught up as I could not feel any more behind right now.

Empty

I am completely devoid of significant thoughts lately. I have some random ideas but no words and I am not sure why. Exhaustion might be the cause. Maybe stress.

I need to recharge this weekend and gain some motivation/inspiration.
