Killing Time

I have been a very, very bad blogger lately.  For some reason I seem to be getting busier each day and that leaves me with a wealth of things to write about and a dearth of time and motivation.  I promise I will pick this up and try to write a little more at night this week.  Quick thoughts - 

1. Casino Royale – Saw it, liked it alot.  Manly.  Very manly.
2. Oceans 13 – Saw it, liked it.  I might be the only person who liked Ocean’s 12 though.
3. Paris, je t’aime – Saw it, loved it, loved it, loved it.  More to come on that one but try to catch it if you can.

Plan to watch the following this week - 

1. 2046 – HK Cinema at its best.
2. Flags of our Fathers (Happy D-DAY gift from weefe)
3. Children of Dune miniseries 

Ambitious but doable. 

Nintendo Style Game Show Fun

Might be the funniest video I have seen in awhile.  Being in Japan a handful of times supports the facts that - 

• The Japanese would be happy and excited to participate in this show.
• The Japanese would be very interested in watching this show.
• That the staging of this show has more safety elements in it than anything we could imagine in the US.

God bless Japan and the crazy/lovable folks there. And by the way, I have no idea why I am seem to be on a bit of a game show trail today.

Change Your Browser

 I know I am a recent mac convert and that makes me a touch crazier than the rest ala Born Again types.  However, for you PC folks out there you love your windows and outlook (I use and love outlook to) I highly recommend trying Safari as your new internet browser. Safari is so superior to IE that you will not believe it and there is no learning curve involved.  They just made Safari PC accessible so maybe expect a bug but I think you will be impressed.

Seriously, take away the fact that I am Jobs-Ass-Kisser and try this out.  Check it out here. And then like a good drug it will open up a nice gateway to switching over.

Happy as I can be

I have officially shut down the Morning Star after a few simple hours at Belligerent Man. I have not been this pleased since they annouced Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Who do you like better – Ozone or Turbo?

I am all about Ozone and that fly ass hat. Fuck Kelly as she did not deserve Ozone, that pretensious snob.

Testing Titles

It looks like I am looking into new digs once again. Do I just get antsy? Is that just who I am?

I do like the title though. Kudos to my wife on that one.

The grass theme is a nice touch as well as I am belligerent but quite suburban now.

Simple & Simple

1. Hummingbirds are fucking amazing to watch up close. To watch them just hover in the same area for 20 seconds and then move swiftly in one direction is impressive to say the least. Also to be able to hear their wings beating furiously to the point you can hear then 20-25 feet away is slick.
2. Jackass the movie is fucking hilarious. I never much got into these idiots but holy shit the movie is to die for. The stones these guys lack in the head are clearly made up for in their testes. Bravo.

Simple things, simple pleasures when you slow down a bit.
