Not so good….

Free Time, HaHa

My littlest one has a whole mouth full of teeth coming in so my, ahem… accomplishments, have been minimal to say the least.  However, I will note them to remember my futility in the future - 

1.  Miracle-Gro the garden.
2. 2 Parks in on AM.
3. Bookstore.
4. Purchased swimsuit or upcoming vacation.
5. Read a little. 
6. Watched several Dirty Jobs episodes.

I also will admit that a good fight was on HBO Saturday (Baldomir vs. Forrest) and HBO is also running all the Star Wars and that is as good as a time drain or me as anything. Lets see what Sunday brings.

In general my faith in tv over the years has been reduced to watching sports and HBO.  However, the Discovery Channel (With a nod to it’s little brother TLC) has restored my faith greatly over the last year or so.  I cannot get enough of the 4 above shows and it demonstrates that shows based in reality can be good especially when they are not “Reality Shows”.

Free Time

 

The wife is leaving on Friday for a little weekend get-away leaving me with the fun chore of solo child rearing and the less fun concept of free time.  I am currently trying to over-plan and over-extend my time with the girls and once they are down for the count at nite. Here is the start of the lists but I am always taking requests and poor suggestions -  With Kids -

• Painting Outside
• Walks at the local forest preserve 
• Swimming
• Potty-training (the 2 year old, not the 11 month old that is)
• Work on some schedule stuff
• Long walk to Caribou to enjoy a nice cool beverage
• Church

 Solo  - 

• Finish 1 book
• Start packing for vacation and prep tackle box
• Watch 5 episodes of “Rescue Me”
• Work on R’s IDVD project and not kill myself
•  Wii time

This will end with me being mad at myself for not achieving all my goals but that is the fun part of being catholic, right?

Another Opinion

1 week solid of Vick coverage is getting old but I understand.  My two cents are this – innocent before proven guilty.  However, if this shit happened to any Jane or Dick at their regular 9-5 job they would have to answer to someone pretty quickly no matter what. His ass should sit until he is found not-guilty.   

Wait A Minute

This clearly tops the Japanese Human Nintendo game show as this touches on two things I love – Prison & Thriller!  You have to love the Philippines.  I think I am going to post up a few other dozen Thriller videos as well as I never get sick of this.  

Sony Officially Sucks

Without question I can declare this.  I am done with them.  No more game shit, no more tv’s, no more computers.  Sony is fucking dead to me.  Fuckers can pull my PSP out of the trash if they want it.

Way Too Many Things

I like to write.  I like to rant a little more.  I generally need this forum to keep the level of crap in my brain below the 51% level.  However, I have less than .000001% time per day to write.  Between the family, the job and the upcoming ________________ (More on that pile later) I am left with little time.  I do appreciate the people who do not come by though and a will work to get a few things up inthe near future including some stellar book reviews (The books, not the reviews) and some choppy movie ones.  

Sony Love to Sony Hate

Fuck the PSP!   I used to be the biggest Sony lover ever but each year I am becoming more of a Sony hater.  First I went through 3 Sony laptops in the course of three years as they all either sucked or just did not have the juice needed for any real business.  Then they basically screwed over PS2 owners while they were twiddling their thumbs on the PS3.  Now my piece of shit – slow load times – crappy battery life PSP fucking dies for no reason.  I e-mail Sony about this and get the automated response that they will respond within 48 hours – where are the dip shits not that we are at 96 hours and do not give me holiday bullshit. Let’s recap -

• Sony PS2-3 NOW Nintendo Wi
• Sony PSP NOW Nintendo DS 

I am this (my fingers are touching) close of being Sony purged you bastards so fuck off. *sorry for the language but I did get more upset the more I wrote.
