Nice Run Indeed

What can I say, I was born in 1974 and all I wanted in 1985 was to be a few years older so I could attend John Hughes High. I think that every one I know had those similar feelings throughout the lid-80’s. Who did not picture themselves in one of his movies as a certain type of character – prep, stoner, jock, etc?

I can say that I always pictured myself as a “Ferris-esque” type of guy based on the fact that I skimmed and charmed my way through most of high school without actually achieving anything. RIP to a guy who had a hell of a nice run for many years and influenced countless of kids.

It is even more amazing to see his full list of credits regarding directing, producing and writing. I listed the directing and producing credits below but he had a hand in another 30 movies regarding the screenplay and that might be the most impressive thing of all.
